SMART Start Library SMART Start Library is a 50 minute orientation session for students coming to Brock directly from High School and is offered frequently in early September. It provides students with a detailed introduction to the Library and teaches basic skills such as how to locate books and reserve items. Students must pre-register. SMART Start Library can also be accessed at https://learning.library.brocku.ca. Simply register using your Portal account and password. |

InfoSkills PLUS InfoSkills Plus is a series of 60-80 minute workshops designed to enhance your skills in researching; locating, citing and evaluating resources; finding information on-line; essay writing; and database searching. Complete a minimum of two core workshops and three electives to earn your InfoSkills Plus certificate. Register with Experience Plus and your participation can be documented on your transcript. Students must pre-register for workshops. The InfoSkills PLUS series can also be accessed at http://learning.library.brocku.ca. Simply register using your Portal account and password. |
